Nashville, Tennessee – William Murphy, the chart-topper, debuts a new live performance, “Just Us,” which previews his new music in the video. In the poignant musical number, the video delivers uplifting encouragement and a reminder of a greater purpose in this new release during Black History Month. Three-time GRAMMY® nominee Murphy, who is also the founder/lead pastor at The Dream Center Church of Atlanta, led this halftime live performance backed by his church’s worship ministry at the Atlanta Hawks MLK Day game vs. the Milwaukee Bucks, which was captured in Atlanta.
Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.’s life and legacy will be celebrated on January 17th at State Farm Arena. Murphy’s live performance marked the first new song by the Stellar Award-winning recording artist/songwriter from his upcoming Worship & Justice album, his first new album since the release of his #1, GRAMMY®-nominated Gospel album Settle Here in 2019.
