Vineyard Worship has released their second single and title track, ‘Room At The Table,’ ahead of their August EP. From the first note, the new song is full of warmth, with parts of gentle blues and soft rock. Worship leader Olu Meduoye’s warm vocals are decorated with a gentle reverb that contributes to the overall pleasant vibe.

‘Room At The Table’ follows Jesus on his journey to the cross and reflects on the beauty of his flesh and blood sacrificed for us. It is a song of memory and an invitation to participate in the limitless life He provides.

‘Room At The Table,’ written by Vineyard Worship songwriters Olu Meduoye, Jonny Riggs, and Integrity Music’s Marc James, is the musical representation of a major tenet in the Vineyard movement to “come as you are.” The new track is a tune of God’s outstretched arms welcoming dusty feet and shattered hearts to the Lord’s table.

According to Marc James, the hymn evolved from the act of communion, “which in many parts of the global Church is viewed as the pinnacle point of worship,” to a broader invitation to attend the grand feast of the kingdom, “drawing everybody in.” ‘Room At The Table’ is a realistic song that invites our human imperfection to sit at Jesus’ feet. Vineyard Worship have penned a new song full of character, trading a heavily produced sound for rawness and approachability.

‘Room At The Table’ releases worldwide on all streaming platforms on July 8th, 2022.
