Jana Kramer, a country singer and actress, has made her faith in God public after being baptized at a church on Sunday. “I’m at a loss for words… I will… but for the time being… There is healing in Jesus’ name “On Sunday, she posted on Instagram. Kramer elaborated on the special moment in a subsequent post, noting that God has always been there for her even when she didn’t want anything to do with Him.

“This is my battle cry. This is the day I stopped walking alone. The beauty is … I was never alone. He was always walking with me,” she wrote. “I just didn’t think I deserved that. If I’m honest, I didn’t know how to trust it or if I could trust it at all.”

Because of her past, Kramer explained that seeing God as a “father figure” was difficult for her to believe or take comfort in.

“I didn’t expect him to stay. That he would not inflict any harm on me. So I avoided God for many years “She continued.

Kramer, on the other hand, realized in the last year that she wasn’t truly alone in her brokenness because God was always there for her and never left her.

“God was just waiting for me to come to him. And I have … and today I made my faith public, and it feels really good to know no matter what happens next on this journey of life, HE is next to me walking with me,” she declared.

Kramer also encouraged anyone reading her message to let God into their lives, noting that He is walking with them “through all the good and bad times.”

“I hope this encourages someone to take the next step because you are not alone… “There is healing in the name of Jesus.”

Kramer concluded her post with a verse from Lamentations 3:22-33, which says, “The faithful love of the Lord never ceases!” His mercies never run out. His faithfulness is great, and his mercies begin anew each morning.”

Kramer’s post drew praise from her followers and other Christian celebrities, according to Faithwire.
