RCA Inspiration celebrates four total nominations across all top Gospel categories for the 2018 Billboard Music Awards, with double nominations in the category of Top Gospel Album. Chart-topper, Travis Greene, is honored with three nominations for Top Gospel Artist, Top Gospel Album, for his #1 GRAMMY®-nominated album Crossover: Live from Music City, and Top Gospel Song for his #1 hit, “You Waited.” Greene won his first Billboard Music Award last year, for Top Gospel Song in recognition of “Made A Way.” Chart-topper Marvin Sapp is honored with a nomination for Top Gospel Album for his #1 GRAMMY®-nominated album,Close. Greene and Sapp each continue to crisscross the country with various tour dates through this Spring.
The Billboard Music Award nominees are selected via a combination of radio, touring, and other measurements tracked by Billboard and its data partners over a 12-month period. The 2018 Billboard Music Awards will be held in Las Vegas on Sunday May 20th, 2018, and air live on NBC at 8 pm ET / 5 pm PT.<
The “2018 Billboard Music Awards” are set to make their NBC debut and will broadcast live from MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas on Sunday, May 20 at 8 p.m. ET / 5 p.m. PT.
