Elon Musk, the co-founder of Tesla, is not a Christian, but he admires Jesus’ teachings.

During a recent episode of the Babylon Bee podcast, the billionaire entrepreneur discussed his thoughts on Jesus.

Musk was urged to accept Jesus as his Lord and Savior before the lighthearted conversation ended, and he pointed out that it was Sunday. How come we’re doing the show on a Sunday? Why aren’t you heathens in church?” Musk joked

“Don’t work on Sundays, God instructed… For this one, you’re going straight to Hell.”

In response to their invitation, Musk focused his response on Jesus’ teachings.

“I agree with the concepts that Jesus preached, and there is enormous wisdom in Jesus’ teachings that I agree with,” he stated.

“Things like turning the other cheek, as opposed to an eye for an eye, are really essential. Everyone is blinded by an eye for an eye.”

He went on to say that he agreed with Spinoza’s pantheistic understanding of God.

“I believe in Spinoza’s God who reveals himself in the orderly harmony of what exists, not in a God who is concerned with human fates and actions,” he said, referring to Einstein’s belief “in Spinoza’s God who reveals himself in the orderly harmony of what exists, not in a God who is concerned with human fates and actions.”

Musk continued, “But, well, if Jesus is rescuing people, I’m not going to stop Him. Yes, I’ll be rescued. What’s to stop you?”

“I think he just said yes – we got him,” the Babylon Bee hosts said, asking if he wanted to be baptized, but Musk emphasized that he had already been baptized as a baby.
