Former Manchester United and England legend Wayne Rooney has shared a personal wish that has caught the attention of many: he wants to visit the River Jordan, the place where John the Baptist baptised Jesus Christ.
Speaking on the Stick to United podcast, Rooney was asked about his dream holiday destination. After mentioning places he has enjoyed, he revealed a deeper longing.
“I’ve always wanted to go… to the River Jordan,” Rooney said. “That’s where John the Baptist baptised Jesus. It would be really interesting to go.”
